
Note that group accounts are still permitted but do not fall under the faculty entitlement. These accounts are intended for any LSA staff and graduate student instructors (GSI) or graduate student research assistants (GSRA) using university-owned equipment. Other accounts are not free and are paid for by LSA Technology Services.
The university covers the cost of CrashPlan for all faculty, other than those in Michigan Medicine. Crashplanner can be used to determine if someone already has a CrashPlan account. Add any additional comments and click Request.
The Shortcode field will appear if No was selected, which makes the shortcode field mandatory. Lecturers are considered faculty members in this case and their accounts are covered by ITS. In the field for "Is this a MiWorkspace Subscripber or Non-MiWorkspace Faculty Member?", click the dropdown and choose Yes, ONLY if it is a faculty member being added, as they are now not charged by ITS for the service.
